Perancangan Kawasan Wisata 1000 Musamus Merauke

(Pendekatan Desain Sustainable Architecture)

Abstract

One of the regions in Indonesia, namely Merauke Regency, which is located in the southernmost and easternmost province of South Papua, has a wealth of iconic natural and geographical assets. Taman 1000 Musamus is a typical tourist spot but does not yet have supporting and adequate facilities and infrastructure for accessibility to and from the site as an integrated tourist destination based on the Destination Management Organization (DMO). So the purpose of this study is to design a 1000 Musamus Merauke tourist park area that is under DMO organizational standards with a sustainable architecture approach and an accessible 1000 tourist park site location. The method used in this research is descriptive research, carried out by collecting data in the form of interviews with the 1000 Musamus tour managers and direct documentation of the object under study. The Sustainable Architecture approach applied includes optimizing potential locations, optimizing energy use, and using environmentally friendly materials such as the use of bamboo in the construction of roofs and walls in the gates,and then using GFRP materials that made from recycled materials so can readuce overuse of resources. The application of DMO (Destination Management Organization) to the design at 1000 Musamus Tourist Park by improving the quality of service and improving the tourist experience at 1000 Musamus Tourist Park which is an indicator of the achievement of DMO standards.
