This research was conducted in June-August 2020. Determination of sampling points at the research location using purposive random sampling method. Data analysis used was fish species composition, Shannon-Wienner diversity index (H'), uniformity index (E), and dominance index (C). The total fish catch during the study time was 1,151 fish, which were divided into 19 fish species. The thick-lipped catfish (<u>Cinetodus crassilabris</u>) was the most caught species and spread in each station with a total of 298 fish. Based on the tidal period, the highest diversity of 2.23 was obtained during the high tide period and the lowest diversity of 1.89 at low tide. Both were found at Station I and fell into the medium category. The value of the diversity index based on the moon phase, the highest value during the full moon phase with a value of 2.12 and the lowest of 1.78 was found in the last quarter phase, both found at Station I. The uniformity value during high and low tide and based on the moon phase at both stations has a high uniformity category. The highest fish dominance was at low tide at station II with a value of 0.20 while the lowest value was at high tide at station I with a value of 0.14.</em></p>2023-07-31T00:00:00+09:00Copyright (c) 2023 Musamus Fisheries and Marine Journalhttp://ejournal.unmus.ac.id/index.php/fish/article/view/5458Pathogenicity and Control of Vibrio sp Infection in Vaname Shrimp (Litopenaeus vannamei) Using Miana Leaf Extract (Coleus scutellarioides (L) Benth)2023-08-31T13:15:52+09:00dina.buana7475@gmail.comdina.buana7475@gmail.comdina.buana7475@gmail.com<p><em><span style="vertical-align: inherit;"><span style="vertical-align: inherit;">Penyakit menjadi kendala utama karena dapat menimbulkan angka kematian yang relatif tinggi. </span><span style="vertical-align: inherit;">Salah satu jenis penyakit yang dapat menyebabkan kematian massal pada udang adalah vibriosis. </span><span style="vertical-align: inherit;">Pengendalian penyakit telah dilakukan oleh para petani dengan menggunakan antibiotik. </span><span style="vertical-align: inherit;">Namun hal ini berdampak pada resistensi dan residu pada udang. </span><span style="vertical-align: inherit;">Oleh karena itu diperlukan pengobatan alternatif yang bersifat alami dan lebih ramah lingkungan. </span><span style="vertical-align: inherit;">Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui kinerja daun miana lam dalam mengobati infeksi penyakit Vibrio sp pada udang vannamei. </span><span style="vertical-align: inherit;">Penelitian ini dilaksanakan pada bulan Juni-Juli 2020 yang bertempat di Laboratorium Peternakan Universitas Hasanuddin. </span><span style="vertical-align: inherit;">Persiapan bakteri dilakukan di Laboratorium Kesehatan Ikan dan Lingkungan BPBAP (Balai Budidaya Air Payau) Takalar. </span><span style="vertical-align: inherit;">Metode penelitian dirancang menggunakan 3 perlakuan dan 3 kali ulangan dengan konsentrasi ekstrak daun miana 1000 µg/mL. </span><span style="vertical-align: inherit;">Udang terkena V. alginolyticus. </span><span style="vertical-align: inherit;">dengan kepadatan bakteri 103, 105, dan 107 CFU/mL. </span><span style="vertical-align: inherit;">Data dianalisis secara deskriptif dengan membandingkan kondisi udang yang sehat dan yang sakit. </span><span style="vertical-align: inherit;">Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa udang yang terinfeksi V. alginolyticus sembuh setelah udang direndam dengan ekstrak daun miana sebanyak empat kali. </span><span style="vertical-align: inherit;">Kesimpulannya penggunaan ekstrak daun miana dapat menjadi alternatif pengobatan udang yang menyembuhkan V. alginolyticus. </span><span style="vertical-align: inherit;"><span style="vertical-align: inherit;"><span style="vertical-align: inherit;">alginolyticus dipulihkan setelah udang direndam dengan ekstrak daun miana sebanyak empat kali. </span></span></span><span style="vertical-align: inherit;"><span style="vertical-align: inherit;"><span style="vertical-align: inherit;">Kesimpulannya penggunaan ekstrak daun miana dapat menjadi alternatif pengobatan udang yang menyembuhkan V. alginolyticus. </span></span></span><span style="vertical-align: inherit;"><span style="vertical-align: inherit;"><span style="vertical-align: inherit;">alginolyticus dipulihkan setelah udang direndam dengan ekstrak daun miana sebanyak empat kali. </span></span></span><span style="vertical-align: inherit;"><span style="vertical-align: inherit;"><span style="vertical-align: inherit;">Kesimpulannya penggunaan ekstrak daun miana dapat menjadi alternatif pengobatan udang yang menyembuhkan V. alginolyticus.</span></span></span></span></em></p>2023-08-31T00:00:00+09:00Copyright (c) 2023 Musamus Fisheries and Marine Journal
