PELATIHAN PEMBUATAN KOMPOS DARI LIMBAH PERTANIAN DI KAMPUNG ANUMBOB DISTRIK KURIK KABUPATEN MERAUKE

Merauke Regency is an area where most of the people work as farmers. Rice commodity is the most widely cultivated commodity by farmers besides vegetables and fruits. Farmers' cultivation practices are still using inorganic/chemical fertilizers to meet nutrient needs. The very high demand for inorganic fertilizers is not followed by their timely availability whenever needed, besides that the market price is quite expensive so that production costs increase. This encourages the use of crop residues in the form of husks as raw material for making compost and livestock manure. Burning rice husks produces husk charcoal containing various nutrients as well as cow dung. The purpose of this community service activity is to provide training on making compost from a mixture of charcoal husks, bran, cow dung and EM-4 to farming communities, village officials, Gapoktan, high school and agricultural vocational high school students. This activity was carried out in stages starting from field observations, provision of materials, training/practice on making compost in Anumbob Village, monitoring and teaching how to pack, label and apply compost to the soil. The combination of rice husk charcoal and cow dung as raw material for compost is able to maintain soil moisture and provide nutrients, improve soil conditions on land with low availability of nutrients and water. In addition, we hope that with this training, agricultural waste that was previously not used can have added value, especially by turning it into compost which is useful for reducing agricultural waste, fertility of agricultural land, and ensuring the sustainability of agriculture in the future.

This community service activity takes the form of outreach to village heads, village officials, and the community regarding effective and efficient management of village assets through the implementation of a village asset management system. The general goal to be achieved in is to provide insight or knowledge regarding the effective and efficient management of Village Assets through the implementation of asset management as well as to improve structured, transparent and accountable asset management and to provide education on how developing village assets.

The method used in this service activity is socialization including the development of lecture material, case studies, discussions and questions and answers. The material provided during the socialization was village asset management material by implementing an effective and efficient village asset management system. The socialization resulted in an increased understanding of effective and efficient management of village assets through the implementation of a village asset management system.

Sampah merupakan salah satu penyebab sumber dalam kehidupan manusia jika tidak diolah secara baik dan benar, termasuk pada kehidupan sehari-hari yang bisa berdampak pada alam dan area komonitas masyarakat banyak seperti taman hiburan, tempat wisata pantai, alun-alun serta kompleks perumahan. Meskipun sampah rumah tangga menjadi salah satu penyumbang sampah terbanyak, selain sampah dari industri, akan tetapi sampah pada tempat wisata juga harus menjadi perhatian, mengingat bukan hanya sampah yang di akibatkan oleh oknum manusia itu sendiri, akan tetapi terdapat faktor-faktor lainnya. Selain itu, terdapat sampah yang merupakan sampah dari alam sendiri yang diakibatkan cuaca ekstrim maupun kondisi alam lainnya, oleh karenya sampah dapat digolongkan menjadi dua kelompok, yakni sampah organik dan sampah anorganik. Sampah organik adalah sampah yang bisa membusuk oleh mikroorganisme, sementara sampah anorganik adalah sampah yang susah terurai lantaran mengandung bahan plastik, logam, dan kertas. Pengelolaan sampah yang baik bukan hanya untuk kepentingan kesehatan saja, tetapi juga untuk keindahan lingkungan. Tujuan penelitian membuat tempat sampah yang dapat mengontrol dan memisahkan dua kelompok sampah tersebut, dengan membantu petugas dalam penginformasian melalui notifiksi. Alat ini rencanya akan dipadukan dengan menggunakan teknologi terbarukan saat ini yakni Internet of Things berbasis mikrokontroller yang akan di bantu dengan sensor pendukung sebagai pendeteksi sampah organik dan anorganik, serta modul GSM digunakan yang berguna sebagai pengirim informasi ketika sampah telah penuh pada tempat sampah yang di buat, yang nantinya diharapkan dapat membantu serta menjaga keindahan wisata pantai pada Kampung Waninggap Nanggo

PEMBUATAN ALAT PENGADUK PAKAN TERNAK UNTUK MENDUKUNG USAHA TERNAK BAGI MASYARAKAT ASLI PAPUA DI KELURAHAN KAMUNDU KABUPATEN MERAUKE

In general, traditional pig breeders of indigenous Papuans in the Kamundu sub-district, Merauke Regency, make cages very close to the house or in the yard for reasons of security and manpower to transport pig food from the kitchen to the pen. odor and become a breeding ground for disease. For that we need a tool that is capable of flowing pig food from the cooking cauldron to the pen which is located some distance from the house. In this research, the emphasis is on how to make a tool that is capable of flowing pig food from the container to the cage. The goal to be achieved is the availability of a simple and inexpensive device that is able to transport pig fodder directly from the cooking container to the pen which is a safe distance from a health point of view to the house. The research method used is the observation method. This tool consists of a container in the form of a large cylinder with a stirrer that is driven by an electric motor so that the animal feed can be mixed properly, there is also a diverter which is expected to be able to flow the animal feed directly into the cage.

SOSIALISASI PENYEDIAAN DAGING YANG ASUH (AMAN, SEHAT, UTUH, DAN HALAL) DALAM UPAYA PENCEGAHAN FOOD BORNE DISEASE

Sosialisasi Penyediaan Daging yang ASUH (Aman, Sehat, Utuh, dan Halal) kepada masyarakat dalam Upaya Pencegahan Food Borne Disease sangat penting dilakukan. Hal ini bertujuan untuk memberikan pengetahuan kepada masyarakat tentang konsep daging yang ASUH serta meningkatkan kesadaran masyarakat akan bahaya dari food borne disease. Survey dilakukan sebelum sosialisasi guna memperoleh data serta gambaran tentang pengolahan daging yang hendak dokonsumsi oleh masyarakat. Penyusunan materi sosialisasi dilakukan berdasarkan hasil survey yang dilakukan sebelumnya dan kegiatan sosialisasi, dilakukan kepada peternak, TP PKK, dan Masyarakat umum desa Sidorenggo Kecamatan Ampelgading Kabupaten Malang. Melalui kegiatan sosialisasi, masyarakat memperoleh pengetahuan tentang konsep daging yang ASUH serta meningkatnya kesadaran masyarakat akan bahaya dari food borne disease. Pelakasanaan kegiatan sosialisasi diharapkan, akan berdampak pada peningkatan pemahaman masyarakat mengenai pentingnya menerapkan konsep daging yang ASUH serta mengurangi resiko terjadinya food borne disease.
