This research is limited by analyzing annual quantitative secondary <br>data in the period between 2012-2021. The data is processed again according to the needs of the <br>model used. The data source comes from provincial statistics published by the Central Statistics <br>Agency for Papua Province. Data is processed using SPSS version 25. The results of the study <br>using the Klassen Typology analysis were obtained in quadrant I, namely the fast and growing <br>sector, while the lagging economy was in quadrant IV. In addition, the production of the <br>agricultural sector has a significant effect on economic growth with a significance value of 0.000 <br>&lt;0.05. The results of calculations through simple regression analysis obtained an R square value <br>of 0.983, meaning that 98.3 percent of economic growth in Papua Province is influenced by the <br>agricultural sector, and the remaining 1.7 percent is explained in other variables not examined. <br>Furthermore, the T test obtained a significance value of 0.000 &lt;0.05; thus, there is a significant <br>influence of the agricultural sector on economic growth, so the hypothesis is accepted<br>Keywords: Agricultural Sector and Economic Growth<br></span></p> Copyright (c) 2026 Musamus Journal of Economics Development 2025-10-01 2025-10-01 8 1 1 13 10.35724/feb.v8i1.7360
