Author Guidelines
Musamus Journal of Physical Education and Sport (MJPES) accepts three main types of papers: Research Articles, Reports, and Reviews. These categories have specific guidelines for word count, structure, and content.
1. Research Articles, which are expected to present a major advance, should be up to approximately 5000 words, including references, notes, and captions, or around 5 printed pages. They must have an abstract, an introduction, up to six figures or tables, sections with brief subheadings, and upwards of 30 references. Materials and Methods should usually be included in supplementary materials, which should also include information needed to support the paper's conclusions.
2. Reports should present important new research results of broad significance and are up to 5000 words, including references, notes, and captions, or around 3 printed pages. They must have an abstract, an introductory paragraph, up to four figures or tables, and about 30 references. 3. Reviews, on the other hand, describe new developments of interdisciplinary significance and highlight future directions. They are up to 3500 words, including references, notes, and captions. Reviews must have an abstract, an introduction outlining the main theme, brief subheadings, and an outline of important unresolved questions. A maximum of 30 references is suggested. Most Reviews are solicited by the editors, but unsolicited submissions may also be considered.
It is recommended that authors adhere to these guidelines when submitting papers to ensure that their work is considered by the journal. These guidelines are intended to promote clarity, consistency, and quality in the research published in the Musamus Journal of Physical Education and Sport.

- Introduction
Musamus Journal of Physical Education and Sport (MJPES) is a nationally recognized scientific periodical that is committed to exploring innovation, creativity, and new developments in sports education, coaching, and science. Published by the Faculty of Teacher Training and Education at Musamus University, this peer-reviewed journal seeks to facilitate the publication of scientific research findings and actively promote the quality and quantity of research among academics and researchers.
MJPES publishes twice a year, in April and October, and features research results and critical analysis studies in the fields of Physical Education, Sports Tourism, Sports Coaching, Physical Activity, Sports History, Sports Biomechanics, Sports Pedagogy, Sports Physiology, Sports Facilities, Sociology of Sport, Sports Law, Sports Management, Philosophy of Sport, Motor Learning and Control, Sports Medicine, and Traditional Sports.
Our mission is to provide a platform for academics and researchers to share their expertise and contribute to the advancement of knowledge in the field of physical education and sport. Through MJPES, we aim to support and encourage the exploration of new ideas and approaches, while upholding the highest standards of professionalism, accuracy, and rigor.

- The Manuscript General Guidelines
Please take note of the following guidelines when writing your manuscript:
1. The manuscript should be an original research result that has not been previously published in any other media or publishing house.
2. The manuscript should be written in standard Indonesian language.
3. Use the article template provided. The article should be written on A4-size paper (210x297 mm), with custom margins as follows: left 1.27 inches, right 1.27 inches, bottom 2.54 inches and top 2.54 inches, Times New Roman font style, 12 pt font size and 1.5 line-spacing.
4. The manuscript should not contain any plagiarism. The editorial board will reject any texts that indicate plagiarism. We use plagiarism software to check your manuscript.
5. The manuscript should consist of five main headings: Pendahuluan (Introduction); Metode (Methods); Hasil dan Pembahasan (Results and Discussion); Kesimpulan (Conclusions); Daftar Pustaka (References).
6. The article title should be short and accurately represent the content of the manuscript.
7. The author names should be written under the title, followed by author affiliation and e-mail address.
8. The abstract should be written in Indonesian and English, not exceeding 200 words. It should consist of a narrative that outlines the goals/objectives, methods, and findings of the research/writing.
9. Keywords should consist of 3-5 important, specific, or representative words or phrases from the article.

- The Online Submission Manuscript Guidelines
To submit your manuscript, you have two options. We recommend using the online submission system on the Musamus Journal of Physical Education and Sport (MJPES) E-journal portal. Here's how to do it:
1. Register as an author or reviewer by clicking "Register".
2. Log in as an author, and click "New Submission".
3. There are five stages to the submission process: Start, Upload Submission, Enter Metadata, Upload Supplementary Files, and Confirmation.
4. In the "Start" column, select the relevant Journal Section and ensure all checklists are completed.
5. In the "Upload Submission" column, upload your manuscript in MSWord format.
6. In the "Enter Metadata" column, fill in your author details, affiliation, abstract, keywords, and references.
7. In the "Upload Supplementary Files" column, you can upload supplementary files, statement letters, or any other relevant information.
8. In the "Confirmation" column, review your submission details and click "Finish Submission" if they're correct.
