Musamus Journal of Primary Education first publish on November 15, 2018 Published by Faculty of Teacher Training and Education, Musamus University (Fakultas Keguruan dan Ilmu Pendidikan, Universitas Musamus). In 2019, Collaborated with Himpunan Dosen PGSD Indonesia (HDPSDI) and Perkumpulan Pengelola Jurnal Paud Indonesia (PPJ PAUD). Now, Musamus Journal of Primary Education is Indexing by Sinta (https://sinta.kemdikbud.go.id/journals/profile/7118) and DOAJ: Directory of Open Access Journals

Musamus Journal of Primary Education start from Vol. 2 No. 1 (October) 2019 edition use NEW TEMPLATE, change to Vol 3. No. 1 (October) 2020, and start from next Vol 3. No. 2 (April) 2021 use Indonesia and English Language in the title of article and little change template than before.

In 2022, based on the target of standardizing the management of international journals, Musamus Journal of Primary Education through the letter of the dean of the Faculty of Teacher Training and Education, Musamus University No. 144/UN52.4/TU/2022 dated February 16, 2022 regarding Changes in Publishing Period to Lembaga Ilmu Pengetahuan Indonesia (LIPI) Musamus Journal of Primary Education has been APPROVED starting 2022 to change the publication period to Number 1 April and Number 2 October.
