Efektivitas Pelayanan Program Lanjut Usia Di Pos Pelayanan Terpadu (Posyandu)
Abstract
The elderly require services provided by the Elderly Integrated Service Post (Posyandu Lansia) to achieve better health standards, promoting independence, health, activity, and productivity. This is crucial as the elderly often face numerous health issues, including degenerative and cognitive problems. The purpose of this study is to describe the effectiveness of the Elderly Program Services at the Sumber Mulya Integrated Service Post (Posyandu). The author employs a qualitative descriptive approach. To collect research data, the researcher interviewed 13 informants as a sample. The data analysis technique involves three stages: data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion or verification. The findings indicate that the services provided to the elderly at the Posyandu Kurik 6 in Merauke Regency are not yet effective when assessed using three indicators according to Budiani. From the perspective of program socialization, which has not been regularly and clearly conducted by the organizers, to the achievement of goals, which remains ineffective both in terms of implementation process and stages, and also in terms of monitoring indicators, which have not been adequately performed by the organizers. Additionally, there is a lack of concern from community health workers and midwives towards elderly individuals who are unable to participate in the Posyandu Lansia program.
