Abstract

This study aims to determine community participation in development planning deliberations in Getentiri Village, Jair District, Boven Digoel Regency. To achieve the research objectives, observation techniques, interview techniques, and documentation are used in data collection activities. The collected data are analyzed descriptively-qualitatively. The results showed that the Non-Participation Group that the Musrembang that had been carried out gave the community enthusiasm in channeling their opinions and proposals. Furthermore, in terms of tokenism of getentiri village, jair district of Bovendigoel district, the community participated in participating in Musrembang activities, in that activity the community participated to provide input related to development plans. As well as in the power of the community in development planning in getentiri village, the community was directly involved in the initial meeting with the village head then participated in the musrembang activity, the community was very enthusiastic with enthusiasm and for the control of the community itself it seemed to be real and carried out directly by the community but was still dominated by the getentiri village officials.
