Strategi Pengawasan Badan Permusyawaratan Kampung (Bamuskam) Terhadap Kinerja Kepala Kampung Waruwe

Abstrak

The purpose of this research is to determine the Supervision Strategy of the Village Consultative Body (Bamuskam) on the Performance of the Head of Waruwe Village. Data analysis was carried out using a descriptive method. This study employs a qualitative approach, while the data analysis technique follows three stages: data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. The results of this research article indicate the Supervision Strategy of the Village Consultative Body (Bamuskam) on the Performance of the Head of Waruwe  Village is implemented through strategic planning. Bamuskam identifies priority aspects that need supervision, including village budget utilization, development program implementation, and community involvement in every policy decision.Furthermore, as a positioning strategy, Bamuskam establishes itself as the primary oversight body in village governance through various strategic steps aimed at ensuring transparency and accountability. Bamuskam strengthens its role as a supervisory institution by referring to regulations and laws that officially grant it the authority to oversee the administration of village governance. As a perspective strategy, one of the main viewpoints adopted by Bamuskam is positioning the community as a strategic partner in village governance oversight. Bamuskam encourages active citizen participation in evaluating village policies to ensure that every decision made by the village government reflects the aspirations and needs of the community. Bamuskam still faces various challenges, including the lack of public understanding of the importance of supervision, the lack of transparency from the village government, and limited available resources.
