Aims and Scope

The aims of this Musamus Journal of Agribusiness are to provide a venue for academicians, researchers, and practitioners to publish original research articles or review articles in agribusiness and agricultural socio-economics.

The scope of the articles published in this journal deals with:
(1) Agribusiness; (2) Agricultural socio-economics; (3) Rural Development; (4) Rural Sociology; (5) Risk Management of Agriculture; (6) Agriculture Extension; (7) Financial Management of Agriculture; (8) Marketing Management of Agriculture; (9) Strategic Management of Agriculture; (10) Entrepreneurship; and (11) Agribusiness Education.

Peer Review Process

The Musamus Journal of Agribusiness published the only paper strictly following guidelines and templates for manuscript preparation. All submitted manuscripts are going through a double-blind peer review process. Those papers are read by editorial members (upon field of specialization) and will be screened by the managing editor to meet the necessary criteria for Musamus Journal of Agribusiness publication. Manuscripts will be sent to two reviewers based on their historical experience in reviewing manuscript or on their field of specialisation. Musamus Journal of Agribusiness has reviewing forms in order to keep the same items reviewed by two reviewers. Then the editorial board makes a decision based on the reviewers’ comments or advice. Reviewers give their assessment on originality, clarity of presentation, and contribution to the field/science. Musamus Journal of Agribusiness has four kinds of decisions:

  • Accepted, as it is
  • Accepted by Minor Revisions (let authors revise within stipulated time)
  • Accepted by Major Revisions (let authors revise within stipulated time)
  • Rejected (generally on grounds of outside of scope and aim, major technical description problems, lack of clarity of presentation)

This journal provides immediate open access to its content on the principle that making research freely available to the public supports a greater global exchange of knowledge.
