Peran Unit Pelaksana Teknis Balai Latihan Kerja Mojokerto Dalam Meningkatkan Kompetensi Lulusan Peserta Pelatihan Kerja

Abstract

Technical Implementation Unit of the Vocational Training Center of Mojokerto (UPT BLK Mojokerto) has an important role in improving the competence of training participants through competency based job training. This study aims to analyze the role of the Technical Implementation Unit of the Vocational Training Center of Mojokerto (UPT BLK Mojokerto) in developing the competence of prospective workers through a facilitative, educational, representative, and technical role approach, in order to support readiness in facing the needs of the job market. The method used is qualitative with a descriptive approach, through structured interview data collection techniques to informants. The results of the study indicate that the Technical Implementation Unit of the Vocational Training Center of Mojokerto (UPT BLK Mojokerto) has carried out its role quite effectively in developing the competence of prospective workers through role approach. Although there are still obstacles such as limited facilities and infrastructure and less than optimal dissemination of information Technical Implementation Unit of the Vocational Training Center of Mojokerto (UPT BLK Mojokerto) continues to make a real contribution in preparing competent workers who are ready to compete in the job market.
