Abstract

Abstract

HR strategies plays an important role in improving the performance of Matara Village officials in the digital era. Along with the development of technology, village officials must be able to adopt changes in work systems and public services to improve work effectiveness. The purpose of this study is to analyze how technology and work behavior adaptation can support the performance of village officials. The methodology used is a qualitative approach with literature studies and interviews with village officials regarding the HR practices applied. The results of the study indicate that the integration of technology in HR strategies can improve the productivity of officials and the quality of public services. Officials who are able to adapt to technology tend to have better performance, because they can utilize digital resources more effectively. This study also found that adaptation of work behavior that is more open to technological changes is a major factor in the successful implementation of HR strategies. The recommendation from this study is that HR policies in village governments emphasize more on the use of digital technology to improve the performance of village officials and improve the quality of public services in the digital era. These results are expected to be the basis for designing more adaptive HR policies at the village level.
