Authors are not advised to withdraw manuscripts submitted after publication (review, editing, layout, etc.). MUJOLALI has spent valuable time and energy at every stage during this process. If, under any circumstances, the author requests withdrawal, the author still has to pay for every effort made while publishing the manuscript. Paid upon official request from the author via email sent to the MUJOLALI editorial team using the same email address as used in correspondence.
The MUJOLALI editorial team considers retracting the publication if:
Findings are unreliable based on clear evidence, either due to error (e.g., falsification of data) or honest error (e.g., calculation error or experimental error)
The findings have been previously published elsewhere without cross-referencing, permission, or proper justification (a case of excessive publication), which is a form of plagiarism and constitutes unethical research.
The MUJOLALI editorial team considers stating concern if:
MUJOLALI received inconclusive evidence regarding research or publication errors by the author.
Evidence shows that the author's findings are unreliable, but the author's institution will not investigate the case.
The MUJOLALI editorial team will consider issuing a correction if:
A small percentage of reliable publications turn out to be misleading (mainly due to honest errors)
List of incorrect authors/contributors (authors who are not eligible or do not meet the authorship criteria have been included)
The mechanism follows the guidelines of the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE)
