Peran Pemerintahan Desa Dalam Upaya Pencegahan dan Penurunan Stunting Terintegrasi

Abstrak

The stunting rate in Wedoro Village is the highest in Sidoarjo Regency, therefore promotive and preventive steps are taken through sensitive and specific nutrition interventions to reduce stunting. This study aims to describe the role of the Wedoro Village Government, Waru District, Sidoarjo Regency in integrated stunting prevention and reduction efforts. The research method used is descriptive qualitative which produces data in the form of written words from the results of interviews, observations, documentation, and online data searches. The results of this study indicate that the Wedoro Village Government in carrying out specific nutrition interventions by creating a nutrition post program, socializing through the Pregnant Women's Class program and providing immunizations for the treatment of infections or diseases. However, due to limited health facilities, in the event of serious stunting, health cadres only provide recommendations to puskesmas and more professional health workers. While the role in sensitive nutrition interventions, namely through the distribution of basic food assistance, monthly monitoring through the posyandu with the support of KMS, stunting assistance through the PENTING Cadre. However, online nutrition consultation through Ayo C-Ting has not been effective. Then, in the provision of clean water and sanitation, it was found that there were still people who had not used inadequate access to clean water.
