Pengaruh Luas Lahan, Benih, Pupuk, dan Pestisida terhadap Produksi Padi pada Petani Anggota Gapoktan di Kampung Yaba Maru, Distrik Tanah Miring, Kabupaten Merauke
Abstract
Merauke regency is characterized by extensive flat lowlands suitable for agricultural development and has substantial potential as a national rice production area in Indonesia. This study aims to identify the factors influencing rice production and to determine the most significant factor affecting production levels. The research was conducted in 2023 in Yabamaru Village, Tanah Miring District, Merauke Regency. The research location was selected purposively. The data used in this study consisted of primary data, including observations, interviews, and questionnaires, as well as secondary data obtained from the Central Bureau of Statistics (BPS) and relevant literature sources from the internet. The study employed a descriptive-analytical approach, involving a population of 611 farmers and a sample of 41 farmers. The analytical method used was multiple linear regression analysis, including the coefficient of determination (R²) test, F-test, t-test, and normality test. The results of the regression analysis revealed that land area, seed usage, and fertilizer application significantly affect rice production in Yabamaru Village, Tanah Miring District, Merauke Regency. Among these factors, land area emerged as the most influential determinant of rice production, as evidenced by its standardized Beta coefficient of 1,924. This result implies that expanding the cultivated land area is likely to contribute more substantially to increasing rice production than increasing the use of seeds or fertilizers.
