Peran BPJS Kesehatan Dalam Penanganan Stunting Di Indonesia
Abstrak
Stunting has become a public issue because it concerns the lives of many people, so it is urgent to be addressed immediately. Through a public policy in the health sector, the government is trying to deal with this issue by involving several actors. This research discusses the role of BPJS Kesehatan in dealing with stunting through a policy analysis of Presidential Regulation number 72 of 2021 concerning Acceleration of Stunting Reduction. The purpose of this study is to describe and analyze the role of BPJS Kesehatan in accelerating stunting reduction through policy analysis. This research is a qualitative research with descriptive-analytical data analysis method. The data is presented descriptively and then analyzed using policy analysis studies. Data were obtained through literature review by reviewing official documents in the form of policy papers; official websites; and scientific articles. The data analysis technique uses the Miles and Huberman model which consists of data reduction; data presentation; and conclusion drawing. The results showed that BPJS Kesehatan has an important role in reducing the number of stunting in Indonesia. The prevalence of stunting rates since 2021 has dropped close to 20. In addition, BPJS Kesehatan is a stakeholder actor in the policy that is tasked with implementing programs in the second and fourth pillars, namely handling stunting and providing good food. The articles in the policy are also synchronized with the role of BPJS Kesehatan in the field.
