Audiovisual Instruction and Badminton Backhand Short Serve Skills at SMK TR 2 Sinar Husni

Abstract

This research is an experimental research. The research design used in this study is a one-group pretest-posttest design. The population in this study was 50 people. From a population of 50 people in this study using Random sampling to 30 students. This study was used to determine the Effect of Audiovisual Media on Learning Outcomes Backhand Shot Service in Badminton Games in Grade X Students of SMK TR 2 Sinar Husni Academic Year 2025/2026. Based on the results of data analysis, description, testing of research results, and discussion, it can be concluded, for the Pretest Normality Test there is a L Count Value = 0.240, L Table Value with Dk = 30 at the α = 0.05 level = 0.242. So L Count < L Table (0.240 < 0.242). While the Posttest Normality Test L Count Value = 0.1721, L Count < L Table (0.1721 < 0.242). Thus, the pretest and posttest data for the Backhand Shot Service Learning Outcomes in Badminton for the 2025/2026 Academic Year are normal.

The hypothesis test obtained F count = 0.75 and F table = 4.18 with a numerator dk of 1 and a denominator dk = n-1 = 30-1 = 29, so it can be seen that f count and < f table (0.75 < 4.18). This indicates that the population comes from a homogeneous variance. Meanwhile, for the Homogeneity test, the calculated t value was 13.44 and the t table value was 1.699. Furthermore, these values ​​were consulted with the t table value at a significance level of α = 0.05 with dk = n-1 (30-1) = 29, so these results indicate a significant difference. Thus, the alternative hypothesis (Ha) states "There is an influence of audiovisual media on the learning outcomes of backhand shot service in badminton games for class X students of SMK TR 2 Sinar Husni in the 2025/2026 academic year."
