The Effect of the Game of Kasti on Improving Motor Skills Among Upper Grade Students at State Elementary School 105399 Kulasar in 2026

Abstract

Objectives:
This study aims to determine the effect of the game of kasti (an Indonesian bat and ball game) on the improvement of motor skills among male students in grades IV, V, and VI at State Elementary School (SDN) 105399 Kulasar.

Materials and Methods:
This study employed a quasi experimental method using a one group pretest posttest design. The study population consisted of 25 male students from grades IV, V, and VI at SDN 105399 Kulasar.

Results:
The research results indicate a significant effect of the game of kasti on the improvement of motor skills among male students in grades IV, V, and VI at SDN 105399 Kulasar, with a calculated t value of 4.014 and a t table value of 2.06 (p < 0.05).

Conclusions:
Based on the analysis of the research results and the preceding discussion, it can be concluded that the game of kasti has a significant effect on improving the motor skills of male students in grades IV, V, and VI at SDN 105399 Kulasar, evidenced by a calculated t value of 4.014, a t table value of 2.06, and a percentage increase of 3.06%.
