Analisis Faktor-faktor yang Mempengaruhi Pendapatan Usahatani Ubi Jalar (Ipomoea batatas L.) Varietas Cangkuang di Kampung Bersehati Distrik Tanah Miring Kabupaten Merauke
Abstract
Tanah Miring District is one of the districts in Merauke Regency that prioritizes the agricultural sector, including sweet potato cultivation. The possibility of developing sweet potato farming in this area is very promising, especially in Kampung Bersehati. However, farmers experience various difficulties, especially related to the selling price of the Cangkuang sweet potato variety, which is relatively low for farmers. This is also not in accordance with the high production costs that need to be incurred. The purpose of the research is to find out the factors that affect farmers' income in Cangkuang variety sweet potato farming and to see the amount of farmers' income. This research was carried out purposively, with the selection of samples using the purposive sampling method. The data obtained was analyzed using multiple linear regression. The results of the research show that there are several factors that affect the income of sweet potato farming, namely production costs, production amounts, and selling prices. In contrast, the area does not affect revenue.
