MJME | Peer-Reviewed Journal in Mathematics Education
Musamus Journal of Mathematics Education (MJME) is a peer-reviewed academic journal published by the Faculty of Teacher Training and Education, Universitas Musamus, Indonesia. The journal provides a scholarly platform for researchers, lecturers, teachers, and education practitioners to disseminate high-quality research findings, theoretical perspectives, critical studies, and review articles in the field of mathematics education.
MJME aims to contribute to the advancement of mathematics education by promoting the exchange of research findings, innovative ideas, and evidence-based educational practices. The journal welcomes scholarly contributions that provide meaningful theoretical, methodological, empirical, or practical implications for mathematics education.
The journal publishes articles related to mathematics education at the primary, secondary, and higher education levels, as well as research addressing contemporary issues in mathematics teaching, learning, curriculum, assessment, teacher education, educational technology, ethnomathematics, and related fields.

MJME welcomes original research and review articles covering a broad range of topics in mathematics education, including:

All manuscripts submitted to MJME undergo an initial editorial screening to assess their suitability for the journal's focus and scope, compliance with the Author Guidelines, and adherence to academic and publication ethics.
Manuscripts that pass the initial screening are evaluated through a double-blind peer-review process, in which the identities of authors and reviewers are kept confidential. Editorial decisions are based on the originality, academic quality, methodological rigor, relevance, clarity of presentation, and contribution of the manuscript to the field of mathematics education.
MJME provides immediate open access to its published content. All published articles are freely available to readers without subscription or access fees. The journal supports the broad dissemination and exchange of scholarly knowledge in mathematics education through an open and accessible publishing model.
MJME is committed to maintaining high standards of academic integrity, responsible research conduct, transparency, and ethical scholarly communication. The journal defines the responsibilities of authors, editors, reviewers, and the publisher through its Publication Ethics policy.
All submitted manuscripts are subject to plagiarism screening using appropriate plagiarism detection tools. Manuscripts containing unacceptable levels of similarity or evidence of plagiarism or self-plagiarism may be rejected in accordance with the journal's plagiarism policy.

Musamus Journal of Mathematics Education (MJME) was established in 2018 and has been published regularly twice a year. The journal was first published in electronic format in 2018 with Online ISSN 2622-7916.
Since its establishment, MJME has continuously developed its editorial management, publication standards, peer-review procedures, and digital publishing practices to improve the quality, accessibility, and visibility of its published articles.
The journal has been indexed in Google Scholar and Garuda and has subsequently been included in the Science and Technology Index (SINTA). Beginning with Volume 5, Issue 1, the journal introduced an updated manuscript template to improve the quality, consistency, and readability of published articles.
MJME continues to strengthen its editorial policies, publication ethics, peer-review procedures, plagiarism screening, and scholarly communication practices as part of its commitment to continuous quality improvement.
Musamus Journal of Mathematics Education (MJME) was nationally accredited as a SINTA 4 journal based on the Decree of the Ministry of Education, Culture, Research and Technology of the Republic of Indonesia, Number 158/E/KPT/2021, for the accreditation period 2018–2022.
Information regarding the journal's current accreditation status is provided in accordance with the latest official accreditation decision issued by the relevant Indonesian authority.
